Frances began dancing as a teenager and danced at her local clubs in Cornwall.
She started calling a few years later, coaching a local club for a competition. Since then, Frances has called at all types of event from barn dances to Christenings, Weddings and Wakes; at Clubs, Days of Dance, Residential Week-Ends and Festivals throughout the country.
Over the years she has travelled widely (something people from the far reaches of Cornwall get used to) to attend dances, both calling and dancing.
Frances likes to dance and call a mixture of English/Playford and American dance styles and firmly believe that dancing should be fun.
In her spare time Frances
organises the N. Devon Folk Dance weekend held annually at Westward Ho! |
