2010 Performers

Kathy Lawmon

 
Scottish dance at Eastbourne 2009
Kathy began Scottish Dancing at the age of 11 at her local Grammar School. She holds the teaching qualification of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society and also Imperial Society Highland Dance medals. Kathy likes to dance and enjoys all forms of Scottish Dancing.

In Portsmouth - now her home - she regularly teaches classes in Scottish Country, Highland and Ladies Step Dancing,and also teaches at Day Schools in other parts of the country. She organises and calls at Scottish Ceilidhs for charity events, weddings and club events. Over the years Kathy has devised many new Scottish dances

Kathy is the choreographer for the Scottish Tattoo and also trains teams of dancers who dance in Tattoos and at many other functions, including trips abroad.

Kathy also organises and runs a very successful week of walking and dancing at Halsway Manor each September.
